Translator (Chinese – Bahasa Indonesia, Semarang)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Translator proficient in both Indonesian and Chinese languages to join our team in Semarang. As a Translator, you will be responsible for accurately translating a variety of documents, conversations, and materials from Indonesian to Chinese and vice versa. You will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between our Indonesian-speaking and Chinese-speaking clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Translate a wide range of documents including but not limited to business correspondence, legal documents, technical manuals, marketing materials, and website content.
2. Interpret conversations, meetings, and conferences accurately and in real-time. Ensure translations maintain the original meaning, style, and tone of the source material.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and accuracy in translations across projects.
4. Conduct research as needed to ensure accuracy and relevance in specialised subject matters.
5. Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure high-quality output.
6. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
