Job Description :
Translate from Mandarin to English and from English to Mandarin.
Ensure translations maintain the original meaning, format, and tone of the source material.
Proofread and edit translations to ensure grammatical accuracy and adherence to style guidelines.
Maintain a glossary of terminology used in translations to ensure consistency.
Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Provide cultural context and advice to enhance the quality of translations.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Language, English, or a related field. Relevant certifications in translation are a plus (Minimum HSK 5)
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional translation experience.
Native or near-native fluency in both Mandarin and English.
Strong proofreading and editing skills, with an excellent command of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions in both languages.
Deep understanding of cultural differences and the ability to adapt translations accordingly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to handle diverse translation projects.
