Warehouse Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning and organising warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Supervise warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance to maintain high productivity levels.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods, to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to ensure timely fulfilment of orders and stock replenishment.
• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in the implementation of inventory control measures, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and reconciliation, to minimise discrepancies and losses.
• Generate reports on warehouse activities, such as inventory levels, order fulfilment rates, and operational efficiency, to support decision-making and performance evaluation.
